Under the title IG Nacht (IG Night), the 2018 dialog fields made the night in Chemnitz more liveable by preparing the ground for new perspectives and playful approaches to the topic of night in the city. The center of IG Nacht, the southern Sonnenberg, was transformed into an artistic-creative hotbed for nocturnal plants, whose radiance could be felt far into the city.
Over a period of 5 months, a total of 10 artists, designers, performers, musicians, scientists and creatives from all over Europe were invited to Chemnitz for 4 weeks each to create a total of five fields of dialog.
