Pilotprojekt

Dialogfeld 3

  • BASTIAN HOFFMANN

Bastian Hoffmann creates installations that use scientific phenomena to create illusions and fascinate the viewer.

It is the auratic moment that interests the artist. Hoffmann creates art that changes viewing habits, arouses curiosity and takes us away from our everyday lives for a short time.
He has built a series of installations, but it is not the objects themselves, but the documentation of these “products” created during the work process that is at the center of his artistic interest. The result is a series of tutorials that live strongly from the artist's appearance. In the Handlungsanweisung, he has found an appropriate format for conveying this exploration in the form of an entertaining “do it yourself” approach.
