Here, where workers once spent the night, where vacancy is still present, where rubbish in the streets and a rough tone of voice sometimes cause displeasure, we want to embark on a journey of pleasure. For as much as the image of the quarter seems tarnished to the outside world, there is also a stubborn (!) form of enjoyment hidden in it.

By bringing together a wide variety of creative people, we promote a dialogue between theory and praxis right in the urban district Sonnenberg - a district, wich is worth discovering. Above all, we strive to rethink the seemingly negative and encourage all of Chemnitz* residents to indulge in sensual pleasure.

To this end, the association invites two artists* into the district to deal in three stages with one of the six senses that enable us to feel pleasure.

No matter whether it's a culinary creation, an intervention, a performance, an installation or tour - we intend to make the Sonnenberg visible and palpable with all senses.
